Workshop
As you enter the workshop, the first thing you will see is timber in its
raw, natural state. We use timber from all around the world and only
pick the finest quality, to ensure the best possible colour and grain.
All of our furniture is made in our workshop, from carcases,
traditionally jointed drawers and doors through to mouldings, cornices
and pillars. We have a team of highly skilled cabinetmakers, each of
whom will see a project through from start to finish, ensuring attention
to detail and outstanding quality standards.
Once we have selected your timber, we will cut, plane and where
necessary mould the wood. At one workbench, you will see a
cabinetmaker constructing chestnut drawer boxes, while at another, a
curved door is carefully hand finished.
The furniture then moves to the polishing shop where it is finished with
a hard wearing satin lacquer. This is where your cabinets really come
alive. Each piece of furniture leaves as a complete cabinet ready for
installation, and before we send the furniture out, every piece is given
a thorough final inspection by our quality control department.
Our cabinetmakers have a wealth of experience and take great pride in
their work. Where possible they will visit the site to see the finished
results. In this way, we continue to improve our products and
processes to meet our clients' ever changing needs.
