En suite bath and shower room in a country mansion

Our clients wanted to convert an existing spare bedroom into a luxurious en-suite bath and shower room to complement their main bedroom. The result is a dramatic light and open area; perfect for relaxation.

We created an open plan free-flowing space that includes a walk-through shower, freestanding bath, twin basins and storage. All bespoke walnut cabinetry was designed and made at our workshop and we both sourced and hand-painted the bateaux bath by BC Designs in a unique copper effect. This complements the walnut panelled bath wall that incorporates a thermostatic control and hand shower outlet by Vado.

The twin basin areas feature floating walnut storage cupboards beneath, which are decoratively styled with tiled upstands and include wall-mounted taps and lighting. Square Memento basins by Villeroy & Boch are complemented by the circular mirrors above. The towel rails are by Zehnder Chatsworth.

The shower area features book-matched porcelain marble effect tiles by Minoli throughout, with anti-slip versions for the floor. The clear glass shower screen and the shower enclosure feature a waterfall shower head, accompanied by a second hand-held shower outlet, all by Vado. The wall colour is painted in London Clay by Farrow & Ball.
