EVERYTHING, AND THE KITCHEN SINK

Aylesbury Vale - undermount sink
Purley - undermount sink
Stoke Goldington - Butler Sink

When choosing the ideal sink for your kitchen you need to consider both its style and what it is going to be used for. At Simon Taylor Furniture we can specify any type of premium sink to suit your truly bespoke project and we often recommend two sinks within the design, if space allows. One will be used for food preparation and washing up items that may not fit in the dishwasher, while the other can be installed with a Boiling Water tap. From half bowls to three bowl configurations, there are many sizes and styles available so tell us what you are going to use the sink for and we will recommend the right one for you.

At Simon Taylor Furniture we project-manage all aspects of your kitchen refurbishment from design to sourcing to plumbing and installation. We handle everything, and the kitchen sink!

The types of sinks we regularly recommend:

Undermount sinks

These sinks are on-trend because they are discreet and suit all types of kitchen from contemporary to Shaker and traditional styles. They are stainless steel bowls that fit directly within granite or stone worktops where the surface itself becomes the rim of the bowl. Functional and easy to clean and they come in a range of sizes and configurations.

Heritage sinks

If you are opting for a kitchen in a home with architectural features then you may wish to choose a heritage style such as a Belfast or Butler sink. These tend to be large, deep and durable white ceramic sinks that are fitted with brackets to the wall. The front of the sink remains on show and we design shallow depth cabinetry beneath to make use of the space and to showcase this traditional style. These sinks are also ideal for utility and boot rooms.
