Britain is a nation of book lovers and recent lockdowns have led to people reading more. In 2020 book sales reached an eight year high, with over 200 million print books sold. More books in the home means that they need to be stored neatly, especially because increased use of virtual meeting software means that while people are listening to you, they are also scrutinising your home in the background. Regularly featured as a stylish backdrop in TV interviews, bookshelves are becoming a 2021 interior design trend in their own right.

Over the past 35 years we have designed and made many different types of bookshelves and bookcases, for hallways and studies and for dedicated libraries.
